ANOTHER ROADSIDE ATTRACTION
One of two MAJOR goals of this blog is to allow folks to suggest places that we should see.
Most people don't immediately think of all of the things that they think are fun to do, but will think of them when they are reminded of something by someone else. We would like you to add your comments to this page whenever you think of (or find out about) a neato thing to see or a cool place to visit.
Here are some of the ideas that other people have suggested so far:
TX, Amarillo: The helium museum. [Val]
DE, Winterthur: Winterthur Museum & Country Estate [Val]
CA, Senora: The Mighty Marmon Muster [The Marmon Club]
AZ, Sedona: I don't know what is there, but it sure must be impressive. [many people]

Alabama welcomes you all, either before or after the Muster. We will be leaving about a week before getting to Sonora and will take about ten days after the Muster to get home. ronbarn

Drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive, and the Shenandoah Valley in south central Virginia. Real purty country. Major dittos on a machine gun shoot like Jenny suggested. It’s like fireworks you can hold in your hands Wheeee!

Mr. President: I tried posting something just a few minutes ago, but I don't think it took. Our thanks to you and the First Lady for gracing our home. The way West? Go west- on I-76 &/or Rt 30. Head through Bedford to Somerset, and there head for Falling Waters, the famous home built by Frank Lloyd Wright over a waterfall in the Pennsylvania mountains. The mountain Laurel should be near full bloom.Be sure to give everyone in california our best; and stop here, and/or in Florida on your way back. Have a great trip.

There are bunches of chain barbeque restaurants in St. Louis so I wanted to send you to one that ain't. This is supposed to be good from a show I saw on the Food Network. It's called Phils Bar-B-Que (636-938-6575) but it's down off of Rt. 44 at 115 W 5th St in Eureka, Mo. But the map shows it right off Rt 44. I put that at about 15-20 minutes from St. Louis downtown. Go back to Rt 64 after dinner to head up to Rt 70 if'n that's yer plan.Later

Ok Warren, if you guys are going to Tarpon Springs, you simply have to go to the sponge docks, when Tiff and I went to visit mom in FL, she took us there, they have all these really great Greek shops and awesome Greek food and bakeries the desserts are to die for) and at the end of the docks is a simply fabulous aquarium
